Photo Recap: Timbers move on to the Semis after a 3-1 victory over Minnesota

While mayhem ruled the field at times, the Timbers were able to decisively defeat the traveling MNUFC to move on to the Western conference finals. Minnesota’s Franco Fragapane made the first goal in the 11th, with Portland’s Larrys Mabiala answering in the 43rd, leveling the game just before half. After that, only Timber’s Sebastian Blanco would find the back of the net, getting a brace for his goals in the 46th and 66th, while struggling with a back injury.

The Timbers head to Colorado this Thursday to face the number one team in the West for a chance to play in the MLS Final.
